Abstract: Rolling-bearings suffered from varying-amplitude cycle loads are damaged along with the process of loading. In this paper, bearings damaged by fatigue are studied, with the purpose of appraising the load-life behavior of them. A new method of fatigue design for bearings is recommended and an example is provided. Results of examples show that the new method is simple and reliable.
