Abstract: This article introduces the features of dry cutting, its requirements to machining devices and cutting tools and the applications of such technology abroad as well. It also discusses development trends of the rising green manufacturing technology in modern manufacturing industry and the important role it plays under the situation of increasingly severe environment problems.
