Abstract: Virtual prototyping technology (VPT) is a comprehensive technology including project design technologies, modeling/simulation technologies and virtual reality technologies .This article reviews the new developments of the VPT at home and abroad, discusses the connotation and key technologies of the VPT, and the consideration for application of the VPT to radar structure design.
