Abstract: The hailstone impacting test system is constructed basing on the theory of air gun which energy is offered by compressed air.The aim of this experiment was to select parameters which have much importance to the success of the research.Kinematic equation of one-dimensional isoentropic nonsteady air was used to calculate system parameters for reference of design and experiment.
