Abstract: Structural composition, design features and design considerations of a certain type of vehicle borne flat-panel waveguide slotted antenna are described in this paper. At the same time, it presents a brief introduction to model establishment and constraint processing. Good results are obtained in both simulation analysis and experiments, which provided the basis for design, analysis as well as improvement of follow-up antenna. It also can be used as reference for similar flat-panel antenna design.
