Abstract: A method for establishing antenna CAD model is introduced in this paper by taking the double-cone isometric helical antenna as an example. Three kinds of manufacturing technology including curve hiding membrane technique, microwave adhering technique and laser stereo scanner exposure imaging technique for the double-cone isometric helical antenna are discussed in detail and were successfully applied in engineering field. Especially,laser stereo scanner exposure imaging technique can make the antenna possessing have high accuracy, consistency and short manufacture periods and provide a reliable machining method for similar antenna manufacture.
