Abstract: The U-shaped bracket is an important part of airborne electronic equipment to achieve the installation of the equipment on the chassis, the good or bad quality of its bending will directly affect the installation reliability between the chassis and the airborne equipment. Material selection, plate cutting, annealing, bending process, and the final aging treatment and other aspects are analyzed in detail. All of them have crucial impact on 6A02 aluminum alloy forging U-shaped parts, and we propose a complete production process of the U-shaped forged aluminum bracket forming.
