Abstract:
The supporting cylinder is a key part of satellite structure. It directly influences satellite total dynamic capability. Firstly, this paper introduces the advantages of satellite cylinder. Secondly, it comprehensively describes the applications and mechanical characteristics of different types of cylinder for satellite structure. Thirdly, we optimize the cylinder configuration, such as its material, panel layer and so on. After the prototype and vibration test, the cylinder is employed for some satellite successfully. Finally, this paper points out the important meaning and development frend for the satellite cylinder.
