Abstract:
A sheet metal welded cabinets for shipborne electronic equipment is described in this paper.Welded as a whole,the cabinet is more suitable for ships.The overall layout of the cabinet and the important dimensions of the column are described first in this paper.The structure meets the relevant standards. To improve the performance of the anti-moisture,anti-salt spray,anti-fungal the requirements for the material and coating are strict in the design.Because of the overall welded framework,the cabinet has good performance of vibration resistance and electromagnetic shielding.Due to a lot of equipment within the cabinet,the heavy load and lifting requirement during installation,the reinforcement design for the lifting structure and its finite element stress analysis are performed,and analytical conditions and results are given.The deformation during welding and the issues caused by the deformation are also described,and solutions are proposed in this paper.The tests show that the cabinet meets the design and use requirements.It has been applied successfully to a project.
