Abstract: The paper introduces the structure design and operating principle of ATO system in urban rail transit．To meet the relevant environmental requirements for On-Board equipment，such as EMC-proof and free of vibration，a self-cooling and reinforced ATO cabinet based on the CPCI bus technology is designed．The paper describes the ATO system composition and functions，and use fuzzy control algorithm to simulate train operation control，indicating that train operation control and precise train stopping of the ATO system meets the engineering requirements．
