Abstract: The VME bus which is used in the radar signal processing plug-in box is an open industrial computer bus．The characteristics of the VME backboard which is defined according to the actual requirement of the signal processing meet the VME64 bus system standard．Based on structural features of the VME board interconnector，the press-in fit technology and the VME backplane stack assembly technology are studied in this paper．According to the technological experiments，key factors of VME connector press-in technology and backplane stack assembly technology are determined and the control requirements and control methods of the press-in fit technology are defined，which can be referred to as the rule of manufacturing．
