Abstract: In order to solve the complex maintaining and operating problem coupled with aerospace electronics chassis，based on the analysis of the defects of old aerospace electronics chassis，using the maintainability design theory and the idea of modular design，a new aerospace electronics chassis which is more convenient on maintaining is proposed in this paper．This new type of chassis accomplishes two characteristics which are orbit quick-replaceable of single board module and overall shield of the front cover．Last，mechanical and thermal properties are analyzed by simulation using the commercial finite element software PATRAN/NASTRAN and Msc．Marc．Simulation results and practice have proved that this type of chassis has the characteristics of convenience on operating and maintaining，completely complying with related standards，good generality and simple structure．
