Abstract: Composite material is characterized by light weight，high strength，good designability，good electrical and thermal performance，good corrosion resistance and excellent technological properties．The composition，performances and features of composites as well as its application to electronic devices are introduced briefly in this paper．According to forming of each different composite，the design requirements of forming process and forming devices are also described．By describing the design requirements of forming process of different composite parts，composition of the forming devices，the functions of each part，the design requirements and methods of mold release are introduced in detail．The main points and notes of composite forming mould design are summarized，too．
