Abstract: The structure of a new type of turntable is described in this paper, which, without complex drive chain, adopts gear motor mode to drive antenna directly. Compared with the traditional turntable, it possesses the advantages of simple structure and high transmission efficiency. Meanwhile, this type of turntable, whose output speed can reach 60 r/min, is suitable for highspeed application. The structural characteristics of the turntable, the design of gear motor, synchronization mechanism and seals are introduced in detail. It can provide valuable theoretical and practical basis for high-speed turntable and the domestic airport surface surveillance technology.
