Abstract:
The largest advantage of viscoelastic damping materials is vibration reduction on wide frequency range and temperature range, especially suitable for the vibration reduction of the structure airborne electronic equipment. This paper discusses the method and typical process of laying viscoelastic damping materials on the airborne electronic equipment mounting rack, and the vibration reduction performances of the mounting rack before and after laying viscoelastic damping materials are compared using finite element method. Results show that the damping mounting rack has better vibration reduction performance.
