Abstract:
Cable wiring design has become the key and difficult point of the design of airborne radar antenna pedestal. Especially, problems such as cable resistance torque increasing rapidly at low temperature require prompt solution. The main problems in the cable wiring design are summed up in this paper, through analyzing the usual approaches of cable wiring design of airborne radar antenna pedestal, and testing the influence of cable resistance torque on motor performance. These problems are solved well, through improving cable twist by designing new-style cable wiring device, improving cable stiffening at low temperature by using new flexible materials, optimizing the cable layout on antenna pedestal. The design method which has been successfully used on similar products, and achieved good results, provides a reference for following product design.
