Abstract: To land UAV safely, a kind of parachute recovery system for the UAV is designed in this paper. Analysis of the recovery system lids under aerodynamic load and the suspension structure under parachute releasing overload are completed by finite element simulation. The parachute releasing test of this system is designed and completed. The results show that the structural design can satisfy both the strength and the reliability requirements of parachute releasing.
