Abstract: Desert climate puts forward new requirements for the overall design of wind profile radar structure,such as resistance to wind & sand, high temperature and cold endurance. According to the climate characteristics of desert zone, this paper puts forward the overall structure implementation scheme, introduces the composition and structure layout of radar, gives the design scheme of antenna array, outdoor cabinet and bridge,adopts special sealing structure and automatic temperature control measures to carry out heat dissipation and sand prevention of rhe radar outdoor equipment, and analyzes and calculates the precision of antenna array.The practical application shows that the radar can meet the practical application requirements in desert areas.Design of this radar can provide reference for the design and improvement of similar products.
