Abstract:
A console is in a compact chassis vehicle with light weight and high mobility. Its requirements of compact structure, light weight, multifunction control and high handling comfort are difficult and crucial in design. According to the structure characteristics of the equipment installed in the console, the light weight and integrated design scheme for the console is proposed, and the aesthetics and reliability requirements of the structure are satisfied. Based on the vehicle environment conditions of the console, the mechanical analysis model of the console is built by finite element software. The modal calculation results of the console are analyzed, and the influence of random vibration in different directions on the strength and stiffness of the console is discussed. Simulation results and test verifications indicate that the strength and stiffness of the console meet the design requirements. The structure design of the console is reasonable and feasible, and meets the operation requirements of the whole system.
