Abstract: Pro/E software is widely used in the field of radar structural design. As engineers employ Pro/E more and more deep, a higher demand for personalized and professional function is proposed. Customized development could result in enterprise specific application programs which improve the efficiency of product design, speed product update rate and increase enterprise competence. The necessity and existing problems of secondary development of Pro/E is analyzed first. Using author′s experience and understanding, functions and implementing method of customized development of Pro/E in the field of radar structural design are discussed, the direction of customized development of Pro/E and basic ideas are presented. It provides reference value for the promotion and effective application of Pro/E.
