Abstract: The investment casting is an advanced near net shape technology with high precision, high efficiency and low loss performance. It has great potential in the radar component manufacture. In this paper some key technologies which affect the quality of the casting work piece are discussed, combined with the structure and requirements of several typical radar components. Some effective applications in radar components are given. To promote further application of the investment casting to radar components, the development trend and the main problems which restrict the technology development are pointed out.
