Abstract:
The lifting mechanism and the locking mechanism are normally designed as two separate parts in the radar main tower system. With the rapid development of modern radar technology, this conventional design can not meet higher requirements for lighter weight and more compact space. In this paper, the radar main tower mechanism with the ball locking cylinder is designed, which has both lifting and locking capabilities. The principle of the locking cylinder is introduced and the locking strength is analyzed. To solve the coupling failure in quick-action couplers, the hydraulic circuit is improved. Application shows that this simple and reliable mechanism can meet the use requirements. It provides a reference for similar product design.
