Abstract:
This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three common calculation methods of the wind load torque, and finally a convenient method of numerical wind tunnel simulation is used to calculate the flow field around the flat antenna under actual conditions. Through the simulation calculation of the Ansys software, the wind load torque of the antenna in the actual working condition is obtained. The simulation results show that the height of the antenna has a significant influence on the wind load torque, and the mode of adding the guide plate at both ends of the flat antenna cannot reduce the wind load torque greatly. Through calculation, it is concluded that the antenna’s wind load torque can be reduced effectively if the antenna height is reduced. The analysis method in this paper can provide reference for the calculation and optimization of the wind load torque of flat antenna.
