Scientific Foundation and Academic Taste of Electro-mechanical Engineering Research

As a rising interdiscipline on electronics and information equipment system, the electro-mechanical engineering (EME) plays an important role in national high-end manufacturing and global advanced manufacturing. The new challenges of high-performance electronic equipment development for electro-mechanical discipline (EMD) are introduced in this paper. To promote the development of EMD, the extreme significance of scientific foundation research, good-taste academic research and scientific spirit is introduced and analyzed. In addition, the ideas and ways to reform electro-mechanical education and student training are discussed, hoping that it will be helpful to the development of EME & EMD.
