Performance Verification of a Radar Antenna Vehicle System Based on Simulation Analysis and Anti-overturning Test

    • Safety design is an important part of radar design and the anti-overturning capability of the antenna vehicle system is the key to safety design because it directly affects the safety of personnel and equipment. Wind load is a critical factor affecting the structural safety of radar system, so it is a great challenge to successfully develop an antenna vehicle system that meets structural safety requirements of radar system under wind load conditions in a single iteration. In this paper, combining engineering development, the structural design of a heavy radar antenna vehicle system is introduced, a finite element calculation model is established and the mechanical performance of antenna vehicle system under given environmental conditions is analyzed. Finally, the anti-overturning test is carried out by loading a simulated load, which verifies the confidence of simulation method. This research has certain guiding significance for structural design of the radar antenna vehicle system.
