Progress and Prospects of Pulsating Heat Pipe

Pulsating heat pipe is a superior heat transfer element for the current air-cooled forced convection to solve the tiny space high heat flux cooling problem.In this paper,its principle,structure and characteristic are described,and the domestic and foreign theoretical research and experimental research are summarized.At the same time the pulsating heat pipe practical application to the area of electronic cooling is suggested.Finally,an outlook for further research is made.
