    Application of Damping Alloy in Mechanical Design of Electronic Equipment

    • Damping alloy shows a superior damping capacity and strength balance, which can be directly used in mechanical damping design without other extra vibration reduction means. Different damping alloys have different mechanical performance and damping properties for the factors of material attributes and damping mechanism. On the base of summarization of research progress and application actuality, the feasibility of application of damping alloy in mechanical design of electronic equipment is analyzed through discussing the material requirements of mechanical design of electronic equipment. Results show that damping alloy could be widely used in mechanical damping design of electronic equipment by choosing proper techniques.
