Abstract
Heat convection in micro-channel is one of the focused research points in the field of anti-adverse environment in electro-mechanical engineering. Micro-channel heat convection is gradually applied to cooling systems of high heat flux electronic equipment because of its good heat transfer property. Phased array antenna has the characteristics of concentrated heat source and extremely high heat flux. A new type of micro-channel cold plate and a type of phased array antenna are organically integrated, and a new cooling method for phased array antenna is presented. Meanwhile, according to the numerical simulation based on finite volume method (FVM), micro-channel cold plates are more advantageous than mini-channel cold plates for controlling the temperature of T/R modules in antenna.
