    Structure Design and Analysis of a Missile-borne Radar Rack

    • The design of a rack of missile-borne radar against high overload is very difficult in the new-type information based ammunition design. At present the strength of the rack is improved mainly by adopting aluminum alloy with high strength and structure optimization, but the weight of the rack isn't reduced obviously. Due to high strength and low density, the carbon fiber reinforced composites is more and more widely used in aerospace industry. Aiming to the strict requirements of strength and weight, in this paper two kinds of rack structure are designed with aluminum alloy and carbon fiber reinforced composites. The static and dynamic characteristics of the rack structures are analyzed and compared. This design idea can provide useful reference for the structure design of the similar rack.
