Research on Modification of Epoxy Resin and Its Application in Radome

In this paper the composition and modification of epoxy resin materials are mainly introduced,involving the modification research on toughening, heat resistance improving and dielectric properties and the practical application of epoxy resin materials in radome is enumerated, such as using as radome matrix materials, bonding foam adhesive, etc. The modified epoxy resin materials show better properties such as higher mechanical strength, low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent value, which can meet the requirements of various applications of ground-based, shipborne and airborne radomes.
