Design of a Vehicle-borne Integrated Conformal Antenna Frame

The array frame is both the main load-bearing structure of a vehicle-borne phased array antenna array and an important part of liquid cooling pipe network. Based on the design input, the main characteristics of structure and thermal design are analyzed and a novel design scheme of array frame is proposed in this paper. Analysis is carried out from system architecture, structure design, thermal design, safety etc. The mechanical and thermal properties of the system are evaluated by finite element method. All indexes are satisfied, which shows that the scheme is reasonable and feasible. The multi-function structure design method in this paper can provide reference for the lightweight and integrated design of subsequent products.
