Research Progress of Tactile Sensor and Electronic Skin

The tactile sensor is an important part of the interaction between the robot and the environment.It is also an indispensable medium between the robot and the environment. In recent years, the application of tactile sensors in medical equipment, biology, health monitoring and other fields has become a research hotspot. The development of robotic tactile sensing technology in the past 50 years is reviewed, in combination with domestic and foreign research results. Several tactile sensors with different sensing mechanisms and their characteristics and the current research on bionic tactile sensor electronic skin are introduced in this paper. The future development direction of tactile sensors with full flexibility, multifunction and self-power supply is put forward.
